- Choose a fixed terminal block or a removable plug and header. Include position count, pitch (the distance between adjacent contacts), and both part numbers when an existing mating half must stay.
- Wire, board, and enclosure
- Share wire size, screw or spring termination, wire-entry direction, and access for installation. Check the drawing for footprint, pin length, height, mounting flanges, and clearance.
- Ratings and production
- Include current, voltage, temperature, required documentation, quantities, and timing. For a replacement, confirm the complete connection against supplier drawings before qualifying the candidate.
